10/11 Pumpkin/Gourd Harvest & 10/12 Fundraising Sale

Come on out for our Pumpkin and ornamental gourd sale. Mr. Manning's neighbor has been gracious enough to allow Pack 420 to pick all the pumpkins and gourds that we want for our own fundraising benefit. Like the mistletoe, this is low overhead and high fundraising with all of the sales going to the Pack. On Saturday 10/11 at 2:00pm we will harvest the pumpkins and load them into my truck. If we get a good turn out this should only take a couple of hours. It will be a great event to pick pumpkins in a rural setting. On Sunday 10/12 at 11:00am we will haul our pumpkins to the country road intersection of Alhambra Valley Road and Bear Creek Road and set up our pumpkin and gourd stand. We will sell for a few hours and see how we do. Bring a bag lunch, something to drink, and a lawn chair. I've seen pumpkins selling for $3 - $12 or more depending on the size. I think if we made a couple of hundred dollars we'd be doing fine (that would be more than we collected all year last year in recycling).
